Renovation of a water / sewer project in Roswell, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Description The City of Roswell is soliciting the services of a contractor to install a concrete pad and electrical equipment needed to connect a new generator to the existing transfer switch located inside the Water Treatment Plant Scope of Work In 2025, the City of Roswell received a GEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant to install a 1000kW, 480V, three phase generator at its Water Treatment Plant. The location and size of the generator was determined during the grant pre-application process. The location cannot be changed. The generator has been purchased. The City of Roswell is soliciting the services of a contractor to construct the concrete pad, transfer the generator to the pad, and install electrical equipment needed to connect the generator to the existing transfer switch located inside the Water Treatment Plant. Currently, there is a 2-inch water line located where the proposed concrete pad is to be installed and will need to be field verified and rerouted if needed. This project is funded by a FEMA and GEMA grant and therefore, the selected contractor will be required to meet all federal policies including Davis Bacon Act requirements. Question regarding this project will be accepted electronically until November 13, 2025 by 5:00pm. Questions after this date will not be accepted.
