1. Milling of the existing surface (variable depth, typically the top 1 1/2 " unless directed otherwise by City staff). 2. Patching distressed areas as directed by City of Roswell inspectors with 440 LB/SY/IN 25mm recycled asphalt concrete. 3. Resurfacing with 165 LB/SY/IN 9.5mm Recycled Asphalt Concrete (20% maximum RAP). 4. Re-striping as existing or per City of Roswell inspector directions. 5. Restoration of damaged traffic loops within 7 days of initial milling. 6. Allowable working days are Monday through Saturday. NO SUNDAY work is allowed without prior written approval. 7. Special Circumstances for Canton Street and Parks: a. All work on Canton Street must be completed by May 15, 2026, and must be coordinated with other City projects on Canton Street. Known closure dates are: i. March 2026 - City of Roswell Drainage Work ii. April 16 - 19 Alive in Roswell and Roswell Music Festival iii. April 26 - Roswell Moves / Mayors Ride b. No work within the Parks shall take place between May 25, 2026, and August 8, 2026, without prior written approval by the City of Roswell. The City of Roswell is Seeking Gdot Prequalified Contractors for Work Class: 400 - Hot Mix Asphaltic Concrete Construction and Work Class: 432 - Mill Asphalt Pavement. The project consists of resurfacing a total of 46 roads (approximately 14.2 centerline miles) and three (3) Parks facilities within the City of Roswell. One hundred and twenty (120) calendar days have been set aside for the repaving the roads listed. A separate deadline of September 30, 2026 is set for completing all paving in all Parks facilities contained within this scope. The bid is a firm fixed price to complete the work based on the submitting contractor's understanding of the scope and assessment of the sites with a payment term of Net 30 days. The City of Roswell has the right to reject any or all bids; to award a contract in the best interest of the City and to waive technicalities and informalities.
