Phase I/II engineering services are required to provide work on various projects throughout District Four. Phase I work, if required, may consist of conducting route surveys, land surveys, hydraulic surveys, hydraulic analyses, geometric analyses, environmental studies, preparing Bridge Condition Reports, Hydraulic Reports, Structure Geotechnical Reports, Type, Size, and Location (TS&L) plans, Intersection Design Studies (IDS's), and Project Reports (categorical exclusion projects only). This work may include data collection, development of alignment alternatives, cost estimates, traffic management analyses, traffic management plans, crash analyses, geometric studies, traffic studies, drainage studies, structure borings, geotechnical analysis and reporting, analysis of existing pavements including obtaining pavement cores, and all other related work required to produce the necessary Phase I documents and reports.
