The project is for general tree maintenance services in the City of Norfolk. Bidders are instructed that the solicitation only accepts paper responses. Question Submission Deadline:November 7, 2025, 5:00pm All questions relating to this solicitation shall be submitted through the Questions and Answers tab in the electronic solicitation posting Question Response Deadline:November 13, 2025, 5:00pm The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, supplies, tools, equipment, and vehicles needed to complete the specified work and meet required quality standards. 2. The Contractor shall, at its own expense, procure all necessary licenses and permits required to conduct the work required under the terms of the resulting agreement including proper disposal of tree debris. It is the sole responsibility of the Contractor to obtain all necessary permits, lane closure permits, and any other required authorization to conduct tree maintenance operations on all rights-of-way. 3. The Contractor at all times during the term of this contract shall observe and abide by all federal, state, and local laws which in any way affect the conduct of the work and shall comply with all decrees and ordinances of the City. 4. At time of pruning or tree removal the Contractor shall remove all foreign objects attached to or tangled in trees such as bags, kites, tree grates, fence posts, rope, wire, nails, hoses, lumber, and signs.
