Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Stockton, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Excavation, backfill and compaction, pipeline dewatering, disinfection and isolation without an existing or functioning isolation valve. Demolition and disposal of the existing MOV1 42" BFV and existing electric actuator. Installation of the new automated MOV1 42" BFV and new electric actuator. Core drilling of the existing MOV1 Valve Vault, installation of a new floor stand pedestal and new mechanical extensions to bring the new electric actuator and local controls outside of the vault and above grade. Demolition and disposal of the existing Valve Cluster 42" and 24" GVs. Installation of new manually operated 42" and 24" BFVs at the Valve Cluster with Christy boxes. Includes any miscellaneous pipe fitting required to install the new valves at the Valve Cluster and in the MOV1 Valve Vault. The valves, actuators, mechanical extensions and floor stand pedestal have been purchased by the District.
