The scope of work includes but is not limited to full architectural and/or engineering services for various projects at ADAH properties. The projects will vary in size, complexity, and duration. The work may include, but is not limited to, exterior/interior building restoration, renovation, and site improvements. The term of the agreement will be for two (2) years with an option to renew for two (2) additional years. Additionally, the scope of work may include special services for studies and documentation of existing conditions in determining potential design solutions for future structural renovation and/or construction. Pursuant to 41-16-72 of the Code of Alabama, as amended, the Alabama Department of Archives and History (ADAH) requests qualifications from qualified design professionals to provide architectural and/or engineering services under an Open-End Agreement for various projects at properties owned or leased by the Alabama Department of Archives and History (ADAH) in Montgomery Alabama. Facilities include but are not limited to a 1940 monumental structure expanded in 1974 and 2005, a 1965 office building, and adjacent parking lots. The Open-End Agreement will be awarded to one architectural firm. The services will be contracted under both fees and hourly rates in accordance with the Manual of Procedures of the State of Alabama Department of Finance, Real Property Management, Division of Construction Management (DCM). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
