Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project entitled 'Improvements to Queen Anne Drive and Shadowbrook Road' generally consists of certain roadway improvements to Queen Ann Dr. & Shadow Brook Rd. in the Borough of Shrewsbury, including roadway base repair, HMA milling, curb replacement, HMA resurfacing, turf restoration, and incidental work. Bids must be made on standard Proposal forms furnished by the Borough and in the manner designated and required by the specifications. Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the project name and the name and address of the bidder on the outside and addressed to THE BOROUGH OF SHREWSBURY. Bids must be accompanied by an agreement of surety (consent of surety) from qualifying sureties, agreeing to post a performance bond of 100% of the awarded amount, and a payment bond of 100% of the awarded amount, totaling 200% of the contract price. All bids must also be accompanied by a guaranty in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, not exceeding twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00), in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond. Bidders are required to comply with applicable statutory requirements, including Equal Employment Opportunity, Americans with Disabilities Act, Prevailing Wages, and New Jersey Business Registration. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or increase or decrease quantities specified.
