Dynamic US, Inc. (Dynamic), acting as agent for the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), is seeking qualifications from firms for the VCCUNY Damper Replacement Project at Kingsborough Community College (KCC). The project includes ten (10) campus buildings and involves replacing existing air handling unit (AHU) dampers and/or actuator assemblies, abatement and proper disposal of all removed materials, and - where required - ductwork modifications and insulation replacement to support the new assemblies. Environmental abatement must be performed after normal campus hours, while the remaining work occurs during regular hours in occupied campus buildings. The work requires careful planning of shutdowns, potential temporary air provisions, safety measures, and detailed Methods of Procedure (MOPs) to minimize operational disruptions. Interested firms must submit a Statement of Qualifications and a New York State Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire (VRQ) for evaluation and shortlist consideration. Firms must show successful completion of at least three projects of similar size and scope within the past eight years and have at least five years of relevant experience. Dynamic and DASNY may review financial data and additional supporting documentation and reserve the right to reject submissions not demonstrating sufficient capability, resources, and performance. Evaluation criteria include project experience, staffing depth, proficiency in occupied-facility projects, and overall responsibility. Shortlisted firms will receive bidding documents, which will include MBE, WBE, and SDVOB participation requirements. The winning bidder must submit a project-specific MBE/WBE/SDVOB Utilization Plan and provide Performance and Payment Bonds. Only shortlisted firms attending the mandatory pre-bid walkthrough are eligible to bid.
