The work is for the replastering of pools and sprinkler head replacement at SPAR Natatorium. Instructions to bidders include: contract documents with drawings and technical specifications are available from the Project Architect. A fully refundable deposit is required for the first set of documents for bona fide prime bidders, with a partial refund for additional sets. Electronic forms may be obtained for a non-refundable fee. Preference is given to materials, supplies, and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Louisiana when quality is equal. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, provided in specified forms and from approved sureties or insurance companies. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100 percent of the Contract amount from qualifying sureties or insurance companies. Bids are accepted only from contractors licensed for Building Construction. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause under the Public Bid Law. No obligation to bidders will exist until the Contract is fully executed. Bids must be plainly marked as indicated. 1. Replace the Sprinkler Heads in the Indoor Pool Area and Mechanical Rooms Shown on the Drawings. Replacement Heads Shall Be Wax Coated. 2. Replaster the Competition Pool, Indoor Leisure Pool, Lazy River And Slide Catch Pool. Replace All Tile. 3. Resurface Indoor Pool Decking.
