Site work and new construction of a residential development in Marathon, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,880-square-foot, one-story above grade, 10-unit residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The Town of Marathon, through its Construction Manager CGV Group, is inviting proposals from qualified CSA A277-certified modular manufacturers to design, manufacture, deliver, and install ten (10) two-bedroom modular residential units and ten (10) prefabricated storage sheds within a newly constructed subdivision on Trailer Court Road in Marathon, Ontario. The base scope of this contract includes ten (10) two-bedroom, one-bathroom modular homes. Each unit shall measure 14 feet in width by 42 feet in length. This unit size has been established to suit the subdivision's lot dimensions, required setbacks, and other site constraints. A width of 14 feet was selected as it represents the practical maximum allowable for highway transport under typical oversize-load permitting in Ontario.
