Bid forms, contracts, and specifications are available through Remington & Vernick Engineers and can be obtained electronically upon payment. Bids must be prepared as specified, using the provided bid form, and enclosed in sealed envelopes with the bidder's information and work reference indicated on the outside. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but not exceeding $20,000.00 of the bid amount. A certificate from a surety company agreeing to provide a completion bond is also required. The contract award is contingent upon the Township securing necessary funds and permits. Compliance with State, Federal, and Local regulations, including Affirmative Action and the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, is required. Proof of business registration for the contractor and any subcontractors, as well as a disclosure statement listing stockholders, must be submitted. Contractors and subcontractors must also be registered under the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. Question Deadline: 11/04/2025: No interpretations of the meaning of the drawings, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally.
