The purpose of this Request for Qualifications is to obtain prequalification information from General Contractors who are interested in submitting a proposal for the Carpenter Hall Interior and Exterior Renovation Project . This RFQ is intended to evaluate and prequalify contractors based on their demonstrated experience, capacity, and qualifications to perform both interior and exterior renovation work on Carpenter Hall. Only those General Contractors that are successfully prequalified through this RFQ process will be eligible to receive the subsequent Request for Proposal and submit bids for the construction phase. 1.2 Project Scope The renovation project will generally include, but is not limited to: 1. Structural and architectural interior improvements 2. Exterior façade restoration and weatherproofing 3. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades 4. Accessibility improvements in compliance with ADA standards 5. Site and landscape work directly related to the building renovation Contractor Requirements Contractors should provide sufficient documentation of relevant project experience, safety record, financial stability, and references demonstrating their ability to successfully complete projects of comparable scope and complexity. University Intent The University intends to award contracts to multiple Suppliers.
