As of December 3, 2025, project was awarded to Lancon, Inc. for the bid amount of $134,800.54. The work consists of installing aviary netting, installing a gate on the walkway bridge, removing and replacing the pond lining (sewer line), and sewer line replacement in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and other contract documents. All project work must be performed by properly licensed contractors and subcontractors with active licenses at the time of bid opening. Any work outside the scope of the prime contractor's classification(s) must be subcontracted to an entity that holds the valid license required for that work. Bids that do not satisfy applicable licensing requirements will be considered non-responsive. Specifications and drawings are available to bidders through the City Website or by request. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than five percent of the total bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive all technicalities and formalities. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after the bid opening. Attention is called to the requirements regarding conditions of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.".
