The scope of work consists of improvements to the storm sewer system which drains into the channel approximately parallel to Strickland Avenue between Blair Oaks Drive and FM 423. The work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, demolition of existing storm sewer, taking down and reinstalling residential fences, approximately 456 LF of Class III RCP, four PSET-CD end treatments, 170 SY of grouted riprap, 445 LF of fence removal and reinstallation or reconstruction, 450 SF of sidewalk removal and replacement, erosion and sediment control, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), utility coordination, video inspection of pipes before and after construction, and any other work deemed necessary by the City of The Colony. Specifications, bid proposal forms, addendums and instructions to bidders may be downloaded from the PlanetBids website, and are also available from the offices of TNP, Inc. The bidder must submit Proof of Insurance and a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid amount. Originals must be submitted in the bid packet or received by the Purchasing Manager before the bid opening. Any questions regarding the bid process, procedures, plans, or specifications shall be submitted through PlanetBids. All responses and addenda for this project will be posted on the PlanetBids website where prospective bidders may download them. All documents must be submitted with the bid package and filled out completely by the bidders.
