The proposed work for which the City of Fulton, Illinois is soliciting bids consists of Contract No. 1 - 4th Street Reconstruction and Watermain Improvements, and includes 5,304 square yards of concrete pavement and 7,270 feet of 6", 8", and 12" diameter water main. A certified check or bank draft on a responsible solvent bank, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder on an acceptable surety company, payable to City of Fulton, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds each for 100% of the awarded contract price. 4th Street - 9th Avenue to 13th Avenue; 10th Avenue and 11th Avenue - 1st Street to 4th Street; 1st Street- 10th Avenue to 11th Avenue; 13th Avenue - 3rd Street to 4th Street; and west of Great River Trailfrom 22nd Avenue to 31st Avenue.
