This project is for the construction of River Farm Phase 2 Lift Station in Belton, Bell County, Texas. The work generally consists of Lift Station, Wastewater, Water, and Erosion Control Improvements. Sealed bids must be addressed to Hunt Communities Belton, LLC on behalf of River Farm Municipal Utility District No. 1. Bid documents can be purchased for a non-refundable fee, and only those who purchase them may have their bids considered. Instructions to bidders include the requirement to submit all questions, clarifications, and requests in writing to the specified contacts before the listed deadline, and to attend a mandatory virtual pre-bid conference. A cashier’s check, certified check, or bid bond of not less than 5% of the total bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee. The successful bidder must provide acceptable performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price within 10 days of award. Maintenance bonds for 10% of constructed streets, drainage, water, and wastewater improvements are required for two years after acceptance. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive defects and irregularities. No proposals can be withdrawn for 90 days after the bid opening period.
