Design to replace one (1) 230:115/69kV, 30/40 MVA transformer at NTUA's Kayenta 230 substation (36.782494, -110.236789). Transformer is on order and will be delivered in the 3rd quarter of 2026. 2. Foundation and existing equipment shall be designed for removal and replaced with new foundation. 3. Removal of existing the transformer and tertiary shall remove the redundant service power to NTUA and WAPA existing control buildings. Engineer firm shall design a new redundant service to both control buildings off the 69kV Bus. Engineering firm shall coordinate with WAPA to meet their SST requirements. 4. Engineering firm shall verify that the existing SEL 587 and SEL 351 are adequate or needs upgrading in existing control building. Engineering firm shall solicit the relay upgrades if required. SEL 735 shall be added to T1 and T2 circuits. 5. The design requirements outlined below reflect NTUA's general expectations for the consultant in providing the service. Further clarification of specific project requirements shall be provided through RFP General Overview of Objective, RFP Q&A, and during the kickoff meeting.
