Remodeling of an industrial development in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the remodel of an industrial development.
PBA seeks to establish a contract with a qualified vendor(s) to provide comprehensive compressor and air dryer services and equipment, including but not limited to inspection, repair, installation, and replacement of compressor or air dryer systems and related components throughout PBA's facilities. The selected contractor(s) shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform the services described herein. Currently, PBA properties have the following compressor and air dryer systems: Hankison, Quincy, Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, Saylor-Beall, and Champion- Please refer to Attachment 1 for images and more details of existing compressors and air dryers. 2.1.1 Emergency Repair Services • The contractor must provide emergency repair services 24 hours per day, seven days a week, 365 days per year. • The contractor must respond to emergency service calls within two (2) hours of notification. • The contractor must maintain an adequate inventory of commonly required replacement parts to minimize downtime during emergency repairs. 2.1.2 Installation and Replacement Services • The contractor must provide complete compressor and air dryer system installation and replacement services including: o Site assessment and preparation o Removal and proper disposal of existing equipment o Installation of new equipment o Connection to existing systems o Start-up and testing o Operating training, as required by PBA o Documentation and warranty registration • Ensure all installation and repair services comply with applicable codes, regulations, and manufacturer specifications 2.1.3 Warranty • The contractor must provide a minimum one-year warranty on all parts and labor. • The contractor must honor all manufacturer warranties for equipment and parts. • The contractor must promptly address any warranty issues at no additional cost to PBA.
