**As of December 5th, 2025, the project was awarded to Earthworx Excavation, with an awarded amount of $3,696,370.59** The City of Montrose is requesting formal bids through the Invitation for Bid process to construct the Rio Grande/Oak Grove Roundabout & Phase I Rio Grande Extension Project. Bids must be submitted electronically to bids@cityofmontrose.org and will be publicly received on the specified date and time. Bidders are responsible for ensuring that bids (including signed addenda) arrive by the deadline. Complete bid packets are available for download from the City web page. Addenda will be posted on the website and must be downloaded, reviewed, signed, and included with the bid submission. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities, and to disregard non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids. The project is subject to local preference policy as described in the City of Montrose official Municipal Code, Section 1-16-4(B), and all Equal Opportunity requirements. All qualified bidders will receive consideration without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sex, marital status, religion, ancestry, mental or physical handicap or age. Question Deadline 11/20/2025 at 6:00 PM MT change from 11/25/2025 02:00 PM. If any Bidder contemplating submitting a Proposal under this Solicitation is in doubt as to the true meaning of the specifications, the Bidder must submit a written e-mail request for clarification to the City's Agent/Contact. All questions regarding this Request for Proposal shall be directed to the individual listed above. All inquiries shall clearly identify the name of the firm and the authorized representative, the IFB number and title.
