Materials products and equipment described in Project no - 00291604 STL County Project Number: 25PRJ-00122 MSD Project Number: 25MSD-00252 PROJECT NUMBER: BDA-MO-02-25 (R24) SITE AND PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project consists of the design and construction of an elevator lobby addition along the west entrance of the gymnasium at Parkway South High School located at 801 Hanna Road in Manchester, Missouri. The location of the site is shown on the Vicinity and Topographic Map, Figure 1. The site slopes from the north steeply downward to the south with approximately 12 feet of relief. The majority of the footprint consists of a landscaped area that is mulched with scattered plantings and a two-tiered modular block retaining wall. A cast-in -place concrete wall is present adjacent to a concrete walkway at the northern portion of the addition footprint. Rip rap is present along the northern portion of the slope. The existing building overhangs another concrete walkway in the southern portion of the addition footprint. The existing site conditions are shown on the Aerial Photograph, Figure 2. St. Louis County public records indicate that the original school building was built in 1976; multiple additions were later added. Historical aerial imagery and public records suggest that the west wing addition (where the proposed addition will tie into) was constructed in 1995. The existing school building adjacent to the proposed addition appears to be performing satisfactorily, with no cracking, tilting, bowing, or slumping of the exterior walls observed, nor are we aware of any reports of performance issues. Additionally, we understand that the adjacent existing school building is supported by grade beams with drilled concrete piers.
