Design engineering for Montgomery County new fiber connections. The project consists of the design and construction of traffic signal improvements for new fiber connections to non-connected intersections where no fiber currently exists at various locations in Montgomery County. Engineering services must be performed in compliance with the U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and guidelines issued by the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT). This project will be funded with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Federal dollars and/or from Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT). Since the project is funded with Federal dollars, the vendor must be in compliance with the following requirements: 2 CFR Part 200 (Code of Federal Regulations). Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). Certification of non-segregated facilities - 41 CFR Part 60-1.8. Comply with Title VI of Civil Rights Act of 1964 (P.L. 90-352) as amended; Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 as amended; the Fair Housing Act (P.L.. 90-284); Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; The Age of Discrimination Act of 1975; (42 U.S.C. Sec. 6101 et seq.) Comply with any Federal Regulations issued pursuant to compliance with Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794), which prohibits discrimination against the handicapped in any Federal funded contract. Comply with Affirmative Action and Executive Order 11246 of September 24, 1965. Compliance with the regulations set forth in 23 CFR 230, and all applicable rules and orders issued there under. Payment to successful bidder shall be net thirty (30) days after receipt of products, materials, services or invoices, whichever is later unless otherwise stated in specifications.
