Site work for a water / sewer project in Chalmette, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform removal and replacement of drain pipe and structures, removal and replacement of pavement, ditch reshaping, waterline offsets, removal and replacement of sewer house connections, and all other appurtenances related to the work. Sealed bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid amount payable to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute the contract in accordance with all terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. Sealed bids must be delivered electronically by Central Bidding or by hand to the specified location during business hours before the deadline. Any bids delivered to other locations or rooms prior to the deadline will not be considered. Drawings and specifications are on file and open for inspection at the specified address and may be secured from the consulting engineers' office by licensed contractors upon payment of the listed deposit. Deposits for the first set of documents for bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon their timely return; partial refunds apply for additional sets upon return. Bids may also be viewed and submitted online at the listed website.
