Sealed bids will be received for the Louisiana Community and Technical College System for Nunez Community College, Parking Lot Replacement - Aerospace Building, Project Number 01-107-24-05. Complete Bid Documents are available in electronic form from Holly & Smith Architects, APAC or from centralauctionhouse.com. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the form stated in the Instructions to Bidders in the Bid Documents. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will only be accepted from Contractors licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction. Bidders must comply with the provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt, except as provided by LA. R.S. 38:2214. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. The award is contingent upon the granting of lines of credit, sale of bonds, or availability of funds, and there is no obligation to the Contractor until the contract is fully executed.
