The Heritage Hills Drainage Improvements project, located along Frost Street North near Hickory Hill Drive and Pinemeadow Cove in Jacksonville, Florida, includes demolition of existing deteriorated culverts and riprap, grading and reconstruction of an open drainage ditch system, and installation of new reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) connections to improve stormwater conveyance. The work consists of concrete ditch paving with weep holes and underdrain stone per COJ Standard Plates D-501 and D-602, erosion and sediment control, restoration of disturbed areas with sod, and tree protection within a 15-foot temporary construction easement. Construction activities shall comply with all City of Jacksonville Public Works standards, NPDES requirements, and applicable JEA utility coordination procedures, ensuring full restoration of impacted right-of-way and private property areas upon completion The work covered by these plans and specifications consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment; and performing all operations necessary for the construction of HERITAGE HILLS DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, as specified in the Contract Documents. Location: This project is located within the limits of the City of Jacksonville, Florida. The construction area includes a portion of the Hickory Hill Drive right-of-way near Frost Street North along with a portion of the adjacent drainage right-of-way. Additionally, the job site shall include all City property, rights-of-way, and easements delineated in the contract drawings.
