Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Copenhagen, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the following: remove and replace the existing Wood Battle Road bridge over Cobb Creek and reconstruct approximately 400 linear feet of approach roadway along Wood Battle Road to tie the proposed structure into the adjacent highway. Bidders shall promptly notify Matt Patterson of any errors, omissions, conflicts or ambiguity within the Contract Documents within 7 days of bid opening. Bidders must follow NYSDOT Standard Specifications, provide a unit price bid, and submit all required materials as described in the bid documents. Bids must be accompanied by security in the amount specified and received in a sealed envelope properly labeled. The successful bidder is required to furnish Performance, Payment, and Guarantee Bonds for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid. The successful Bidder and all subcontractors must have an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT prior to contract award, comply with federal EEO requirements, pay prevailing wage rates, and provide a valid NYSDOL Certificate of Registration. Bids from non-responsible entities or those not listed on the official plan holders list will not be accepted. All federal, state, and local requirements, including civil rights and labor laws, apply. Lewis County reserves the right to consider, waive informalities, or reject any bids submitted.
