Renovation of a mixed-use development in West Orange, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and one-story above grade recreation facility.

**As of December 4, 2025, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid.** The project will generally consist of improvements to the Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center (OSPAC) and Crystal Lake by creating additional amenities to better utilize the park's area. Improvements will include the refurbishment of OSPAC including the reconstruction of the asphalt drive, paver walks and patios, the installation of premier stadium seating and ADA accessible seating area for stage view, the installation of an updated sound system, and related work. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided, in the manner designated and required by the specifications. They must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township Clerk. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond not less than 10% of the amount of bid, but not less than $500 nor more than $20,000, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety statement from a Surety Company stating that the surety will provide a bond for 100% of the contract amount if awarded. A Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Record of Recent Contract Awards must also accompany the proposal on the forms provided. Proposal forms shall not be removed from the form of proposal and must be submitted in the bound book, left whole and intact in every respect. Bidders must have at the time of bid a Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury and comply with all requirements for affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, and disclosure of stockholders or members with 10% or greater interest. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the opening of bids. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or all proposals will be rejected within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Township reserves the right to reject all bids, unbalanced bids, or waive any informality. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
