Description

Renovation of an office development in New Milford, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade office development.

The project is for comprehensive architectural and engineering services for a phased renovation and conversion of existing classroom space at Sarah Noble Intermediate School into office facilities for the Board of Education Offices. The selected firm is to provide: - Evaluation of existing space and programming for the new offices, including conceptual drawings. - Development of a complete design plan for an ADA and code-compliant office suite, with schematic construction drawings for the entire project, divided between two construction phases. - Detailed cost estimates for all required services, equipment, furnishings, and total construction, broken down by phase. - Management of contractor procurement, including scheduling and conducting a pre-bid meeting, responding to RFIs from bidders, and issuing addenda as needed. - Preparation of drawings per specified format and scale guidelines, and submission of physical and digital sets upon design phase completion. Proposals must remain valid for ninety days, be signed by an authorized representative, and include a statement of understanding, firm qualifications, key staff, and completed appendices. Responses must comply with specified submission requirements and formats.
