Renovation of a municipal facility in Freehold, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee payable to Monmouth County Board of Recreation Commissioners. The Bid Guarantee shall be in the amount of "10% of the Base Bid (as called out in the Bid Form)" or $20,000.00, whichever is the lesser amount. The Bid Guarantee shall be given by certified check, treasurer's check or bid bond at the Bidder's option. Consent of Surety must accompany each bid. The Consent of Surety shall provide that if the Contract is awarded to its principal, the Surety on behalf of its principal will post Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds if required, each of which shall be for 100% of the amount of the awarded Contract. Event bid note: Bid submitted must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, the title of the bid, and the words ''Furnish and Delivery of Installation, Repairing, Testing and Monitoring of Alarm Systems'' ''F-65-2026'' Bids are to be addressed to the Monmouth County Division of Purchasing The Monmouth County Board of Recreation Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all bids, and to award contracts in whole or in part, if deemed in the best interest of the Board to do so. The Monmouth County Board of Recreation Commissioners shall reserve the right to hold bids for sixty (60) days prior to award of contracts. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: I. INSTALLATION & REPAIR: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, apparatus, tools, transportation, permits, certificates, and temporary work necessary to fulfill the terms of this contract. Installation and repair work shall include, but necessarily be limited to, the following: A. Supplying the Park System with written estimates, showing the breakdown of parts and labor, prior to performing any work when costs exceed $500.00. B. Installing and Repairing various alarm systems and components as may be determined to be in the Park System's best interest. C. Supplying a detailed service report at time of visit, including time in, time out, and description of work performed. D. Submitting all bills for payment showing breakdown of parts and labor. E. Installation of new systems shall require the contractor to apply for and receive any required permits and submit copies of those permits to MCPS before any work begins. The contractor will also be required to call for and submit proof of approved final inspections before payment is made. F. The contractor shall also be required to submit three large format hard copies of plans for any new system to MCPS. II. TESTING: A. Diagnostic testing, both on-site and remotely. B. Inspection and testing of the intrusion alarm systems at all Park System locations, including all door and window contacts, motion detectors, panic alarms, etc. All inspection results on each alarm system will be documented and submitted to the Park System's Chief Construction Inspector. C. Any deficiencies noted during annual inspections must be reported to the Park Systemwithin 24 hours. C. Annual fire alarm testing on all Park System alarms, certifying operation on NFPA form, and submitting completed report on NFPA form for each alarm to the Park System's Chief Construction Inspector, who in turn must submit reports to the County Fire Marshall. All annual inspections must be completed during April and May, with completed reports submitted by June 15 of each year.MONITORING: The contractor shall provide UL-approved alarm monitoring service for all systems at all Park System locations. The system at each golf center shall consist of an Alarm Net, compatible with existing alarm panels. The radio system shall provide wireless burglar and fire alarm monitoring service 24 hours a day seven days a week through the contractor's UL central monitoring service, and shall have at a minimum a 24-hour test signal. The Park System shall be responsible for providing telephone lines. IV. ALARM NOTIFICATION PROTOCOL: This protocol may be changed, in writing, at any time the Park System deems a change to be in its best interest. o Upon receiving a fire alarm signal from a system: o The central monitoring service shall call the appropriate municipal fire department directly and then notify the Park System. o Upon receiving a security alarm signal from a system: o During normal business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm: The central monitoring service shall call the location for passcode verification. If no passcode verification is given or there is no answer, the monitoring service shall call the Park System's alarm responders for the location, as provided by the Park System in the Alarm Monitoring Service Agreement, listed as the "Authorized Individuals to be Notified."
