**As of December 15th, 2025, the project was awarded to Desert Development LLC, with an awarded amount of $92,199.99** The project is an update to Southwest Technical College and involves demoing certain steel elements like a door landing, ladder, and removing existing lighting. New additions include handrails on the north side of the main large stairs, a concrete-on-metal-deck floor flush with the main building floor, and overhead lighting above the new mezzanine and below basement floor. Only contractors who have been prequalified under a Stage I Prequalification for Contractors and are currently on the respective prequalified contractors list as of the date of this solicitation are eligible to bid. A mandatory meeting will be held as specified in the solicitation schedule. Prime contractors wishing to bid must attend and sign in. Contractors not in attendance are ineligible to bid. Subcontractors and suppliers are invited but attendance is not mandatory. During the mandatory meeting, the overall scope of work and intended schedule will be presented, and interested contractors may ask questions or request clarification about the project and procurement process. All project-related requests for information, clarifications, and questions must be submitted via the specified website by the deadline. Any changes or additional requirements will be incorporated into the contractor's proposal and/or bid through addenda. Only written interpretations and product approvals issued as addenda will be considered official. Products of other manufacturers can be proposed if they meet or exceed the standards in the drawings and specifications and with the required written approval, when necessary, as specified in the solicitation schedule.
