Sealed bids are invited for Environmental Construction (AC1) for the 2021 Capital Project – Phase 2B: Environmental Construction at Van Antwerp Middle School. Bidding documents must be obtained through the designated web portal, www.nyplanroom.com, which will provide updates such as addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other relevant bidding information. Bidders who obtain documents from other sources will not qualify as bidders. When ordering, bidders must specify their status as prime bidder, subcontractor, or material supplier, and provide trade affiliation. Only complete sets of documents will be issued. Electronic documents are available for download for a non-refundable fee. Printed sets, available for a refundable fee, can be collected from Dataflow, Inc. Returning printed contract documents in reusable condition within 30 days after Bid opening entitles the holder to a refund. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Bids must include bid security as specified in the contract documents and may be withdrawn under conditions described in the Instructions to Bidders. All official notifications and addenda will only be distributed through the designated web portal to registered bidders. Requests for information or clarifications must be made in writing. The work must be completed as set forth in Section 011200 entitled “Multiple Contract Summary.” Instructions to bidders include: obtaining complete bid documents from the designated web portal to qualify as a bidder, providing status and trade affiliation when ordering, understanding limits on the number of printed sets provided, procedures for return and refund of contract documents, submission of a bid security, and following procedures for addenda, withdrawal, and interpretation requests. The Owner may waive informalities or reject bids as deemed appropriate.
