Renovation of a mixed-use development in Niskayuna, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development; and military facility.

Plans call for renovations to existing work areas to create and updated vault type room complexes at the site. Scope of work includes but is not limited to modifications to the site, architectural, fire protection, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications systems, modifications to existing doorways, walls, access controls, electronic controls, fire protection systems, fire sprinkler & alarm systems, HVAC, telecommunications systems, window modifications, & personal electronic device storage locations. *The owner requests that all subcontractor / supplier inquiries be directed to the GC Bidder(s)s. *This project is being bid by invitation only. If you have been contacted by the owner to bid on this project as a general contractor, and would like to be listed below, please notify our editorial staff at contentcase@constructconnect.com Addendum #1 has been issued as of 2-10-2026. The Subcontractor shall provide all material, services, labor, tools, and equipment, necessary to construct this project. The work generally consists of but is not limited to the following description. Refer to the Subcontract Drawings for detailed requirements. A. The project's Scope of Work includes renovations to existing work areas to create and update Vault Type Room (VTR) complexes at the site. B. The Work includes but is not limited to modifications to the site, architectural, fire protection, mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications systems for the work areas. The Work Scope varies for individual work areas; refer to the Subcontract Drawings for detailed requirements. C. The Phase 1 Scope of Work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Modifications and/or replacement to existing doorways to accommodate specified access controls and hardware. 2. Construction of new walls and doorways at VTR perimeter boundaries. 3. Work area access controls which may include electronic controls, mechanical controls, or a combination of both. 4. Modifications to existing fire protection systems including sprinkler and alarm systems to support the work. 5. Modification to existing mechanical HVAC system to support the work. 6. Modification to existing electrical systems to support the work. 7. Modifications to existing telecommunications systems to support the work The Phase 2 Scope of Work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Modifications to existing walls to meet VTR requirements. 2. Modifications to existing windows including fixing them in place and covering to prevent visual access. 3. Modifications to existing miscellaneous openings in VTR perimeter boundary walls which may include securing rooftop hatches, open ducts, and various utility systems. 4. Construction of Personal Electronic Device (PED) storage locations. 5. Removal of existing abandoned classified network cables from various work areas.
