Description

Site work for a municipal facility in Richmond, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes the following: The project includes surface preparation and re-coating of the interior and exterior of Ground Storage Tanks (GST) No. 1 and No. 2 and Hydropneumatic Tanks (HPT) No. 1 and No. 2, including welding, structural repairs, and all exposed piping and appurtenances. Work also involves re-coating above-ground yard piping; replacing interior ladders in both GSTs; fill line piping, roof hatches, and overflow box in GST No. 1; vent screens on the ground storage tanks; and collar penetrations and appurtenances on HPT No. 2. Tanks will be disinfected before being placed back in service, and miscellaneous repairs will be completed as identified and approved by the Engineer. Alternate work includes removal and replacement of a hydropneumatic tank and remobilization for an additional recoating phase if the Contractor cannot complete the work in one mobilization, subject to Engineer approval. Contractor hereby also agrees to achieve SubstantialCompletion of the Work within 120 calendar days after the date of the written Notice to Proceed.
