Site work for a water / sewer project in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project involves the replacement of over 23,000 linear feet of waterline with new 8-inch pipelines and other appurtenances. All work is located in Christian County and must be performed in accordance with contract documents and specifications. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Bids will only be accepted from registered contractors holding approved bid forms provided by the Issuing Office. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent of the bid, payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any and all bids, and no withdrawal of bids is allowed after the opening date. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The project will be funded with City Reserve monies and Cleaner Water Program grant funds through the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, requiring adherence to all applicable requirements and provisions for both bidders and subcontractors. Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate. The Owner may award only a portion of the work at stated unit prices due to available funding. All bids remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after proposal receipt. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
