Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project involves the replacement of two existing booster pumping stations, installation of a new booster pumping station, the installation of two new booster chlorine buildings, SCADA, and other appurtenances. All work is located in Christian County. Bids are to be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent of the bid. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any bids. The awarded bidder must fully complete the project by a specified date, with liquidated damages assessed for delays. The project is funded by City Reserve monies and a Cleaner Water Program grant through the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, and bidders must meet all applicable requirements and provisions. Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate, and the owner may award only a portion of the work at the stated unit prices due to funding limitations. All bids must remain valid for 90 days after proposal receipt.
