Project 1: Replacement of the Stones River Battlefield sewage pump station. Incidental work includes gravity sewer replacement, force main replacement, demolition of existing facilities, related electrical and mechanical work, site restoration and reconnections to the existing sewer system. The Battlefield pump station also includes an alternate for a CSX railroad bore if the existing casing pipe crossing the railroad cannot be found, and coordination with the Battlefield Historic Preservation Department. Project 2: Replacement of the Thompson Lane sewage pump station which is located at a separate site. Incidental work includes gravity sewer replacement, force main replacement, site work improvements, associated electrical and mechanical, demolition, re-connections to the existing sewer system, and consideration of existing underground utilities. The bid package will be received for a single prime contract, and the bids will be on a unit price basis. The single prime contract consists of projects 1 and 2 listed above, total package has an expected construction duration of 365 days. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
