Rutherford County is seeking a qualified Contractor to completely remove and replace six (6) existing HVAC systems, including ductwork, controls, and associated electrical components as part of Phase II of the Recovery Court renovation. Specifically, there are three (3) 5-ton natural gas package units and three (3) 4-ton natural gas split system units. The Rutherford County Building Maintenance Department is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and renovation of current Rutherford County buildings. Building Maintenance just completed Phase I of an expansion and renovation project of the Rutherford County Recovery Court located at 525 N. University Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37130, which added approximately 1200 sq ft to the facility. Phase II of this project consists of replacement of the HVAC systems and renovation of the interior of the existing portion of the building. Rutherford County Government is requesting sealed bids from qualified vendors for building maintenance involving HVAC replacement. All sealed bids are to be submitted and will be opened and read aloud before interested parties at the specified Purchasing Meeting. Prospective vendors may receive a bid packet by contacting the Rutherford County Mayor's Office. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept any portion of any bid, or accept any bid other than the lowest cost meeting specifications.
