The project involves work at three separate buildings for the Fox River Water Reclamation District: Main Control Building (Building C) – North Sewage Treatment Plant, 777 Cliford Avenue, Elgin, IL 60123: Includes interior renovations and a 550 SF addition for a Break Room, Training Area, and Kitchenette. Also includes associated site improvements. Administration Office Building (1950) (Building D) – Dana Drive, Elgin, IL 60123: Includes interior renovations and a 585 SF addition for a new Break/Training Room and Locker Room areas. Also includes associated site improvements. Administrative Office Building (Building E) – 1957 N La Fox Street, South Elgin, IL 60177: Includes interior renovations and a 3,945 SF addition for new Offices, Training Room, Workspaces, and Board Room. Also includes associated site improvements. Prospective bidders should contact the specified person at Lamp Incorporated to be placed on the bid list and to gain access to SmartBid, where drawings can be downloaded. All contractors must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last year, and submit it by the specified deadline. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany the Bid Form. The successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid amount, with sureties approved by the owner, and a Certificate of Insurance within ten days of the contract award. The successful bidder must pay Prevailing Wage and submit certified payroll records according to the Prevailing Wage Act. All contractors must comply with the requirements of the Fox River Water Reclamation District Ordinance No. 966 and submit the necessary documentation prior to or with the bid. Failure to submit these documents may result in bid rejection. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities.
