As of February 25, 2026, proposals have been submitted. Information regarding a selection has not been made available. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The City of Rochester, NH is soliciting proposals for the redevelopment of 6.5 acres in the downtown district to new multi-use development. The area, known as 161 South Main Street, consists of six separate parcels in one contiguous area. Bidders must submit five hard copies of their proposal via USPS, FEDEX, or UPS, or deliver in person to the Finance Office at City Hall. Proposal packages should reference RFP 26-07 Downtown Redevelopment-161 South Main St. Bid specifications are available online or by email from the Purchasing Agent.
