Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pocatello, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; and one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.

The work consists of constructing a traffic signal with dedicated turn lanes to replace the existing all way stop at the El Rancho Blvd Intersection. Hiline Road will be widened approaching the intersection to accommodate the additional lanes and storm drainage facilities will be installed. Sidewalk, curb & gutter and pedestrian ramps will be replaced in the area to improve ADA compliance. Contractor is also responsible for traffic control for the duration of the project and must adhere to the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Pedestrian access must be maintained through the project site at all times. Prospective bidders must submit the plan holders form and download the plans to receive addenda postings. Complete bidding documents and details are available at the specified website. Attendance at a pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the bidding documents for all requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid proposal, furnished according to the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Pocatello reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and offers preference for documented Section 3 businesses or individuals on this project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
