*As of December 15, 2025 this project has been awarded to Pennsy Supply, Inc. for $198,797.80. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Akron Borough in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid for each Contract. The successful bidder, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety), as specified in the Contract. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. All proposals must be submitted online via online and include documents outlined within the specifications. Akron Borough reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. Akron Borough Sean Molchany, Borough Manager. Question Deadline 11/11/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Roadway improvement project within Akron Borough to include, but not limited to, base repair, milling, placement of tack coat, paving fabric and wearing course as specified. ADA curb ramp replacements and line striping included.
