Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Avon Park, Florida. Completed plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, and supervision necessary to remodel one (1) existing bathroom within the Fire Station into two (2) fully functional bathrooms designed for firefighter use. All questions shall be directed to the Purchasing Agent in writing and will be accepted for addenda until Wednesday, November 26, at 5:00 PM (EST) in order to provide sufficient time for the City to respond appropriately to questions. All questions concerning this selection process or this document must be e-mailed to amogle@avonpark.city. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, and supervision necessary to remodel one (1) existing bathroom within the Fire Station into two (2) fully functional bathrooms designed for firefighter use. Each new bathroom shall include: Toilet Sink with vanity Shower with durable waterproof enclosure Changing area with bench and gear hooks The bathrooms must be designed for high-frequency use, quick cleaning, and long-term durability. All work shall comply with federal, state, and local building codes, plumbing codes, electrical codes, NFPA fire station design considerations, and City regulations.
