The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Provide all necessary labor, material, equipment, supervision, safety, protection, tools, hoisting, scaffolding, unloading, rigging, placing, storage, permits, shop drawings, samples, coordination, layout, inspection, and cleaning to complete all work for the above-referenced Project as shown or implied by the Contract Documents. 2. The terms 'summary of work', 'scope of work', and 'project scope' shall be used interchangeably. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. 1. Removal of all exterior balconies and infill with new construction. 2. Removal of elevated platforms and replacement of operable partitions in program rooms. 3. Remodel of offices areas on upper level. 4. New architectural finishes and casework throughout (except as noted otherwise). 5. Installation of automatic sliding doors at both lobby entrances. 6. Replacement of storefront at rear vestibule. 7. Remodel of bathrooms on both floors (no change in layout). 8. Replacement of lighting throughout (except as noted otherwise). Questions/clarifications shall be submitted no later than Friday, November 14 to Erin Graham at egraham@embossdesign.com. Sealed bids are requested for all labor, materials, and equipment required to complete the OFFICE RENOVATION project at the Boone County Cooperative Extension Service, 6028 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, KY 41005. The work will be performed under a single contract with the Owner. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, labeled with the Project and Bidder's name, and addressed appropriately. Bid Security is not required; however, the successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract Sum. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids. Bids cannot be modified, withdrawn, or canceled for sixty (60) days after bid opening.
