The Camp Sustain (CS) is a Canadian Army (CA) project that follows the DND/CA goal to achieve CAF mission capacity requirements for deployed military camps. The CS project will combine the usage of DND owned refurbished equipment and acquisition of new equipment to accomplish a minimum DND inventory capability of supporting up to a 3,200-personnel camp held on hand. The Camp Sustain (CS) is a Canadian Army (CA) project that follows the DND/CA goal to achieve CAF mission capacity requirements for deployed military camps. The CS project will combine the usage of DND owned refurbished equipment and acquisition of new equipment to accomplish a minimum DND inventory capability of supporting up to a 3,200-personnel camp held on hand. The New CS Infrastructure is part of the CS project and must enable proper equipment storage and maintenance for serving the CA deployed forces. Included in the CS project is a new infrastructure at Montreal Garrison: The Theater Support Coordination Center (TSCC) Stored and maintained at the new CS TSCC will be 2,106 sea containers. 700 of these sea containers will be stored in the new facility and the remaining 1,406 in the existing parking area. The CS TSCC facility will include an administrative area, heated storage space for 700 sea containers, maintenance and unloading area. The services required are: Architecture & Engineering (A&E) services for the provision of detailed design development and the associated documents, cost estimating, and tender and construction phase services to the project. Construction of new infrastructure to support the storage, operations, and maintenance of the CS fleet at CFB Montreal. TIMELINE: This is not a bid solicitation nor a request for proposals. This is an advance notice for a potential contract with anticipated security requirements to provide interested Design-Builders an opportunity to begin the sponsorship process for obtaining (if required) the anticipated security clearance(s).
