Design-bid-build construction of a new 46,000 square foot Collective Training Enlisted Barracks based on the Army Standard for an Operational Readiness Training Complex (ORTC), consisting of a three-story facility to house 300 personnel in open bay sleeping areas. The project includes barracks support spaces such as storage, team rooms, laundry, restrooms, and showers, along with installation of a physical access control system, intrusion detection, mass notification system, and infrastructure for future closed-circuit television. Work also includes connection to an energy monitoring control system; implementation of sustainability, energy efficiency, cybersecurity, fire protection, and alarm systems; and provision of 100 percent redundant heating and cooling systems. Supporting site work involves utilities, connections, lighting, paving, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, information systems infrastructure, landscaping, and signage. The project will ensure accessibility compliance and incorporate comprehensive interior design and furnishings services. Facilities will meet Department of Defense minimum antiterrorism standards and Unified Facilities Criteria for a 40-year service life, including performance requirements for building envelope and integrated systems. Hazardous materials such as asbestos or lead-based paint, if encountered, will be managed and disposed of per applicable regulations. The effort also includes demolition of two existing barracks buildings at a nearby location and includes project options.
