Related Notice W912QR-FY26-DEVENS-CTEB Design Bid Build construction of a 46,000 SF, 300-bed open-bay Collective Training Enlisted Barracks at Devens Reserve Forces Training Area (RFTA), Massachusetts. The facility will follow the standard design for an Operational Readiness Training Complex (ORTC) and include open bay sleeping rooms, storage, team rooms, laundry, restrooms, and showers. The project scope includes installation of information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (ECMS). Supporting infrastructure will cover site development, utilities, lighting, paving, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, landscaping, and signage. Sustainability, energy efficiency, and cybersecurity measures will be incorporated. All fixtures, furnishings, and equipment will be provided. The design will include antiterrorism force protection and physical security measures, such as minimum standoff distances from roads, parking, and unloading areas, as well as accessibility for individuals with disabilities. The facility will be designed for a minimum 40-year life span in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-02. The project also includes demolition of two adjacent buildings. Estimated contract duration is 720 calendar days. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
