Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in New York, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Work includes restoring tidal salt marsh and coastal upland areas including excavating historical fill and removing debris, placing clean sand, sandy loam, and natural stone, and seeding and planting native species. Work also includes creating a stone revetment, adding stone to raise a section of an existing jetty, and installing a stone sill, as well as installing perimeter fencing and creating pedestrian access with a new gated entrance and a pile-supported boardwalk and picnic area. The above enumeration of the general scheme is not to be construed as including all items and operations necessary for the completion of the Work. All Work shall be completed according to the Contract Documents and as directed by the Engineer. Any references to "Owner" in the Contract Documents shall mean the Agency as defined in the City of New York Standard Construction Contract. This Procurement is for construction/construction services pertaining to Soundview Bolton Point Coast Habitat Restoration and Park Construction, managed by the Parks and Recreation Capital Program Management. The selection method is competitive sealed bids. Bid submissions must be submitted in PASSPort. Bid documents are available online for free through the NYC PASSPort System.
