Professional engineering services will be required on a continuing basis for earthwork, mitigation, wastewater system, water supply system, stormwater management, roadways and offsite improvements, and any other public improvements authorized by Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. The selected engineering firm will act in the general capacity of District Engineer, providing District engineering services as needed. Applicants must hold applicable federal, state, and local licenses, be authorized to do business in Florida, and provide a "Qualification Statement" detailing qualifications and past experience on U.S. General Service Administration’s Standard Form No. 330, with relevant supporting data. Applicants must provide information regarding the ability and adequacy of professional personnel, minority business enterprise certification, willingness to meet time and budget requirements, past experience and performance, geographic location of headquarters and offices, current and projected workloads, and the volume of work previously awarded by the District. Each Applicant must identify the individual responsible for District meetings, construction services, and other engineering tasks. The District will review all Applicants in accordance with Florida law and the Consultant’s Competitive Negotiations Act. Applicants must submit five copies of Standard Form No. 330 and the Qualification Statement. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Qualification Statements and will not reimburse any expenses related to preparation and submission of Qualifications Statements. Any protest regarding the terms or evaluation criteria must be filed in writing within specified time frames.
