Renovation of a residential development in Fort Pierce, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The purpose of this Bid is to solicit qualified contractors to rehabilitate the property as a part of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Contractor acknowledges that it has prepared the Contractors Bid (Part II of the Agreement) and that such bid is accurate and consistent as to the name of Contractor, scope of work that the Contractor will undertake, and price. Contractor acknowledges the performance requirement established in the write-up and warrants that all work undertaken will conform to said specifications. The work shall be performed on the property located at 2300 San Marcos, Fort Pierce, FL 34950 All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the City of Fort Pierce Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. Question Deadline 11/26/2025 at 5:00 PM ET All inquiries will be in a written format and addressed to the Grants Administration Division with a copy to the Purchasing Division: TO Covasky Brutus Community Engagement Specialist Email: cbrutus@cityoffortpier Minority-owned, Woman-owned, and Small Business Enterprises Are Encouraged to Respond to This Solicitation. This project should be bid on according to the housing rehabilitation specifications. The offeror agrees to furnish the following items or services to the City of Fort Pierce at the place specified, in accordance with specifications herein. 1. SCOPE OF WORK This project should be bid according to the housing rehabilitation specifications set forth below. Project Bid must be all inclusive. o Replace Roof o Repair/Replace fascia and soffit o Replace main entry door o Replace side door (2) o Replace toilet (2) o Replace 7 windows - impact o Repair exterior& interior wall (include paint) o Replace hallway light o Replace HVAC o Replace smoke detectors (2) o Install (4) smoke detectors o Replace interior doors (6) o Replace closet doors (2 bi-fold) PLEASE NOTE: Any roof work will require separate permit. The homeowner is responsible for securing and protecting any breakables. The homeowner is to supply and is also responsible for needed utilities to complete rehab.
