Renovation of an educational facility in Marathon, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The District is seeking a contractor/company replace the 4 identified units with new Rheem 5 ton single phase propane heat package units with hail guards and fresh air damper. This includes removal of old units and installation of needed curb adapters for proper installation. It is the intent of the district to replace 4 of the 6, 5-ton package units on the elementary building. The units will be the Central East and West units, North West Unit, and Southeast Unit. A contract will be awarded to the respondent whose submittal is most advantageous to the District, considering the relative importance of price and other evaluation criteria included in the soli citation. Award will not necessarily be made to the respondent submitting the lowest price offer. Solicitations will be evaluated/awarded using the best value method as defined in Texas Education Code 44.031 in determining best value, the District will consider the following factors: 50 Points Labor Cost 30 Points References (reliable and well known) 20 Points Qualifications
