Renovation of a fire / police facility in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Upgrades and improvement to ecological parameters of the Montreal fire station 9. The scope of the project includes the addition of electric boilers (to meet at least 85% of heating energy needs); replacement of the existing natural gas domestic hot water production system with electric water heaters, upgrades of the control system, centralization of controls on the remote management platform, increase the electrical service capacity when required, architectural work related to electromechanical needs, selective demolition, construction and repair of walls, improvement of the fire protection system and occasional finishing work. TIMELINE: Following the request for proposals 25-20940/20061614 the owner has awarded an engineering professional consultant for the establishment of a functional and technical program for carrying out the project works. Preliminary studies and concept establishment are underway. Final project scope, budget and timelines of the project implementation will be finalized based on the FTP report submitted by the awarded professional consultant. Further update in mid-2026.
